The Promoters
1. The promoters are RateMyApprenticeship, part of the RMP Enterprise portfolio of Unit 1.01 Piano House Brighton Terrace, London, United Kingdom, SW9 8DJ, and Access Accountancy 2015 Charitable No 1165776 (access.accountancy@kpmg.co.uk).
The competition
1. The ‘Career for Everyone’ competition is a lucky draw for anyone that enters the competition microsite in order to win a range of vouchers and/or an employability prize. There is no obligation to get the brainstorm question correct, however you must opt in to receive emails from Access Accountancy if you are interested in the employability prizes.
How to enter
1. The competition will run from midnight at the start of 2nd October 2020 (the "Opening Date") and will be rolling on a monthly basis until the final winner is chosen on midnight on 19th February 2021.
2. All competition entries must be received through the competition microsite no later than midnight on 19th February 2021. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
3. To enter the competition, submit the online entry form provided on this microsite by the Closing Date.
4. No purchase is necessary and there is no charge to register for use of the website.
5. The Promoters will not accept:
  1. responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
  2. proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.
6. By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Eligibility
1. The competition is only open to all residents in the UK (excluding Northern Ireland) aged 16-18 years who are in current full-time study during the 2020/2021 academic year at a secondary education institution recognised by the government listed here. Proof may be required to claim the prize.
2. The following are not eligible to enter:
  1. any person who does not meet the eligibility criteria above;
  2. employees of the Promoters or its holding or subsidiary companies;
  3. employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoters or their holding or subsidiary or sister companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
  4. members of the immediate families or households of (b) and (c) above.
3. In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoters may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
4. The Promoters will not accept competition entries that are:
  1. automatically generated by computer;
  2. completed by third parties or in bulk; or
  3. incomplete.
5. There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
6. The Promoters reserve all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
7. Competition entries cannot be returned. If you would like to save your entry, please print a copy before submitting it.
The prizes
1. Each month until competition close, there will be a lucky draw for 1 voucher winner and a limited number of employability prize winners per month for anyone that has opted in via the microsite.
2. If you are selected as a monthly voucher winner, you can choose from a range of prizes, including a Currys voucher towards a laptop, Moss, M&S, ASOS vouchers for clothing, or a digital trainline voucher. We are unable to exchange your prize if you aren’t able to use it. If you opt in to receive emails about the monthly employability prizes, you may be contacted as a random winner. We will then ask you to select your preference from a list of opportunities and locations (and dates if relevant). If your preference is no longer available, we may call you regarding similar opportunities.
3. Prizes are subject to availability. The Promoters reserve the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
4. The prize is not negotiable [or transferable].
Winners
1. The decision of the Promoters or the judges nominated by the Promoters is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
2. A member of RateMyApprenticeship will contact each monthly winner using the telephone number or email address provided with the competition entry, as soon as practicable, and winners will have 4 working days to get back to us to confirm acknowledgment of their win, otherwise your claim will become invalid and we’ll approach another winner. In order to claim the prize, you must confirm receipt with RMP Enterprise.
3. The online prizes will be sent via email from the RateMyApprenticeship team within 1 week of confirming the type of prize listed in 5.2.
4. Upon confirming your employability prize, RateMyApprenticeship will share your contact details with a member of Access Accountancy who will arrange logistics and reveal the name of the organisation offering the prize. Please check your emails and listen out for any voicemails from the Access Accountancy team as there may be a limited time frame to claim the employability prize
5. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
6. The Promoters do not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
Limitation of liability
1. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoters, their agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoters, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Ownership of competition entries and intellectual property rights
1. All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoters will become the property of the Promoters on receipt and will not be returned
2. By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:
  1. assign to RateMyApprenticeship all your intellectual property rights in it; and
  2. waive all moral rights to it.
Consents and others’ rights
1. You agree that the Promoters may, but are not required to, make your entry available on the RateMyApprenticeship website and any other media, and in connection with any publicity of the competition.
Data protection and publicity
1. If you opt in to receive future emails about career opportunities, the promoters will only process your personal information as set out in the privacy policy.
2. If you win, we may use your name or a written testimonial to announce the prize on RateMyApprenticeship social media.
General
1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoters may, at their sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
2. The Promoters reserve the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
3. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
